8 мая, в Патриаршем имении в городе Пайн Буш (штат Нью-Йорк) состоится торжественное празднование Дня Победы, куда будет приглашено огромное количество наших соотечественников, включая ветеранов. Мероприятие начнётся с Литургии в 10:00 утра. После чего на открытом воздухе будет праздничный обед в виде полевой кухни военного времени. Каждый желающий сможет отведать солдатскую кашу, хлеб, сало и фронтовые 100 грамм. Участники праздника приедут в военной форме или отдельных атрибутах, чтобы проникнуться атмосферой военных лет.
Чтобы воссоздать еще более достоверную картину военного времени, военные реконструкторы организуют исторические дисплеи, лекции и шоу. Во время всего мероприятия будут звучать военные песни.

Celebrate Victory in Europe day at the Patriarchal estate in Pine Bush (New York). The event will begin with the Liturgy at 10:00 am. After that there will be an outdoor pick-nick simulating the field kitchen of the wartime. Everyone will be able to taste the soldier’s porridge, bread, salo and a “front 100 grams”. Participants of the event will arrive in the WWII uniform or individual attributes, to feel the atmosphere of the war years.
To recreate a more accurate atmosphere of the war, the military re-enactors will organize historical displays, lectures and shows. After the pick-nick there will be a “victory day concert”.
